Hi, I’m Paulina!
I’m truly so glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A), supervised by Nadine Greer, LMFT-S, based in Texas. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and my passion is integrating faith and psychology to help my clients experience healing, freedom and deep connection.
My passion for healthy relationships comes from my own family’s story—through experiencing the pain and confusion of my parents’ divorce…and the healing that followed when they remarried each other a few years later! I learned early on that love is only the beginning; it takes intentionality, healing, and tools to build lasting connection. My abuela always reminded me that one day I’d experience “amor del bueno”—a love that’s deep, secure, and worth pursuing—with ourselves, with others, and with God. That’s the kind of love I’m passionate about helping others experience.
This led me to found The Good Love Co, a space for healing, growth, and establishing healthy cycles. I believe the client/therapist relationship is the heart of therapy, which is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you determine if I am the right fit. Besides a therapist, I am also a wife and I enjoy cooking delicious Dominican meals, reading historical fiction, and traveling to new places!
And yes, I’m bilingual! Sessions are offered in both English and Spanish.
Therapy Approaches
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a highly effective, research-backed approach that helps individuals, couples, and families build stronger emotional connections. Rooted in Attachment Theory, EFT focuses on identifying and reshaping negative patterns in relationships to create a sense of safety, security, and closeness. Rather than viewing emotions as obstacles, EFT uses them as a powerful tool for healing and lasting change.
Studies show that 90% of couples who complete EFT significantly improve their relationship, with 70-75% overcoming chronic distress. Additionally, 77% of clients with anxiety and depression find lasting relief, and those with trauma learn to manage PTSD symptoms effectively.

Christian counseling is a professional, biblically grounded approach to therapy that integrates faith and psychology to help individuals, couples, and families find healing and growth. It is not about simply quoting Bible verses or preaching—it’s about providing real, effective counseling through the lens of a biblical worldview.
At The Good Love Co., our counseling is rooted in faith while using proven therapeutic methods to guide clients through life’s challenges. Our goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients—whether they share our faith or not—while offering counseling that aligns with Christian values of love, grace, and restoration.
We believe that true healing happens when we address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Our approach is informed by the belief that God is the ultimate source of wisdom and healing, that Jesus is the “Wonderful Counselor” (Isaiah 9:6), and that the Holy Spirit is our guide, comforter, and helper (John 14:16-18).
Whether you're facing relationship struggles, personal hardships, anxiety, depression, or trauma, Christian counseling offers a compassionate, faith-centered approach to help you move forward.
